Welcome to
Angry Seagull Adventures!

An adventure race is one of the most exhilarating outdoor adventures you can experience in a weekend.
It will both challenge and amaze you.

Your team of adventurers will be biking, canoeing and trekking through wilderness checkpoints, with only your map & compass, your mental & physical toughness, and the help of your teammates to get you to the finish.

It won't be easy but it will be an experience you will always remember.

NINETEEN TEAMS... AND COUNTING
At the close of early registration on Monday April 1, a total of 19 teams (57 racers) have registered for the 2013 24-30 hour Angry Seagull Adventure Challenge in Temagami. You'll be able to check those teams out on the "TEAMS" page within the next few days. Registration is limited to 30 teams so if you are planning to race, get your team committed and register early than later.

NAVIGATION CLINIC - SATURDAY MAY 4, 2013 in support of Children's Foundation of Guelph/Wellington
On Saturday May 4, we are hosting a "Learn to Navigate for Adventure Racing" clinic in Milton, Ontario. The morning will be spent learning how to read a map and use your compass; the afternoon will be spent in a local forest on a navigation practice trek with experienced adventure race navigators to coach you through. Instead of the usual registration fee, we are hosting this clinic as a fundraiser for the Children's Foundation of Guelph & Wellington, in support of Team Jay & Mike as they return to compete in the Southern Ontario Amazing Race one more time. WE'RE BACK IN 2013... AND GOING TO TEMAGAMI!
I am excited to announce the 2013 return of the Angry Seagull Adventure Challenge - July 12 - 14th in TEMAGAMI, Ontario!   Temagami is a wilderness paradise - amazing network of lakes, remote backcountry camping, and beautiful old growth forests.   Teams will navigate through forest treks, fast & fun bike trails, and remote and beautiful back country lakes.   Route design is complete and will be a 24 to 30 hour adventure (fastest finishing time expected to be ~20 hours).   Registration will open in early January and will be limited to 30 teams.   Hope to see you there!   Til then, train hard and have fun!

ANGRY SEAGULL ADVENTURE ON HIATUS FOR 2012
With mixed emotions I have made the difficult decision not to host the Angry Seagull Adventure Race in 2012.
Though I will miss both the fun and the challenges that come with hosting the race, I am excited to use 2012 for time with family and to complete the scouting & course design for the exciting return of the Angry Seagull in 2013... bigger and better!
Hope to see you at the adventure in 2013.
